Celebration of the Arts

Don and I attended the Celebration of the Arts last night at the Veterans Building.
To our surprise, two of our grandchildren where performing in the Lyman Gilmore jazz band and concert band. So we were doubly glad we attended.
Part of the program was recognition of the major benefactors to the Lyman
Gilmore Arts/Music Department. As you know, Rotary was acknowledged, and I was proud to also give Principal Brian Buckley a check from GV Rotary for $250
for the Arts/Music Department. I also accepted a very nice appreciation certificate for Rotary and I’ll bring that (along
with the program) to the meeting on Monday.
