Bill Schultz-Feels as a Board member of the Nevada County Fair, that the price is unfair. Just for a couple to park and get into the fair it is $24. He and other Board members are looking at ways to decrease the cost and increase attendance. Also, Bill purchased 2 hogs at the fair from 4H and is looking for any members that are interested to purchase 1/2, 1/4, or even just chops. Bill does not have the space to store the meat. Please see Bill for more information.

Lacy J. Dalton took the stage around 7:45 and very shortly she had the audience in the palm of her hands. She thanked Eric Trygg profusely for taking them on tours of Nevada City and Grass Valley. She also remarked about the wonderful hospitality of the Holiday Express and Grass Valley.

One of her opening numbers was one she wrote about Rotary and the Four Way Test. Is it the Truth.

She also wrote another one about the fight to eradicate polio. We're that Close. She has a Rotary CD available for purchase. I believe I heard that 50% of the proceeds go toward the battle against polio.

The rest of her performance exceeded all expectations.

After the event lacy J Dalton was gracious to pose for photos with the Interact group as well as with others.

After the event the volunteers jumped right in and dismantled the bars, the stage and left the grounds in very good condition even though there wasn't enough light to see by. When I walked the area the next morning I found only a few missed areas.
