Rotary Club of Grass Valley is Under New Management
Against better judgement club allows local lawyer to take the helm

The Rotary Club of Grass Valley announces that their club is now under new management by local lawyer Scott Browne. Scott takes over from last years President Eric Trygg. While Eric’s clever ruse of dis-interest allowed him to keep the Rotary Bell almost to the end of his tenure it appears Scott has already lost the Rotary Bell.

Scott Browne has been a member of the Rotary Club of Grass Valley since May 20, 1996 and has held many positions in the club including Vice President, Board of Directors Chair, Past Presidents Advisory council.

President Browne is a graduate of Yale University with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He has been practicing law since 1976 (longer than some club members have been alive). President Browne served as Deputy County Counsel for the County of Nevada and then as a senior partner in a law firm. President Browne now runs a sole practice, and we thank his secretary in advance for running the club for the next year. President Browne is a present and past member of the board of directors of many non-profit organizations, including numerous community service organizations and liberal arts organizations.
